Wow this item was once the propellor for a fighter plane used during 1 of the World Wars and when the war was finished and the planes were dismantled and scrapped this propellor was taken and fashioned into a real AWESOME Mantle Clock. The weird mechanism is inside still and a wire comes out the back but has no plug so i am unsure of its working condition. The clock face does look like silver to me. This is an Excellent item for a house and a great conversation piece.
