WW1 Trench Art 'German Propeller Wood' Trinket Box (with Inscription)

This superb, beautifully handmade, WW1 trench art trinket box was hand crafted from the wood obtained from a German propellor blade found in 'Keetmanshoop', a town in then, German Southwest Africa (G.S.W.A.) on the 18^{th of} June 1915. On the inside of the lid there's a handwritten inscription by the soldier who made which reads 'Made from a German aeroplane propellor blade found at Keetmanshoop, G.S.W.A.' It is also signed by the soldier '? Name, Capt.?'.

NOTE: I've included a copy of a photograph I came across of a German plane that crashed on take-off in 'Keetmanshoop'.
