An EXCELLENT example of a WW1 Union Defence Force, South African Infantry Brass Shoulder Title. This piece appears to be in a F+ /VF state of preservation , with detailed Graphic Design Relief on obverse and reverse. All insignia/ symbology present. Appropriate Evidence of handling/ age-related wear is visible on surface. Item remains in a used , yet well-preserved state. Brass Insignia will exhibit a degree of surface toning / variable discoloration due to metallic composition. Piece displays good structural integrity with retention lugs securely mounted & well integrated. All Decorative elements are clear and defined. Nomenclature is present and remains legible.
