An EXCELLENT example of First World War/ Second World War - British Army Argyll & Sutherland Highlanders White Metal Glengarry Badge. This piece appears to be in a VF/F state , with detailed Graphic Relief on  obverse. All insignia present. Evidence of handling/ age-related wear is visible on surface. Lustre remains in good order with a Degree of toning. Lugs and retention pin are present and complete.

The Unit - was formed in 1881 as a Line Infantry Company , later amalgated into the Royal Regiment of Scotland in 2006. The First World War- saw Service on the Western Front , Egypt & post-War during the Irish War of Independence in 1919. World War II - the Unit participated in the Western Desert Campaign, Crete, Abyssinia , Sicily and the Italy Campaign- as well as - the Far East.
