WW2 Folding Stretcher Frame
This is the "skeleton" of an American-made WWII stretcher. My research indicates that they were used, likely amongst other applications, as beds in field hospitals. This frame is sturdy and folds out as designed, but it is missing it's canvas and the two end-stanchions that clip the top and bottom of the canvas onto the frame. I've included a pic taken from the internet showing what the complete item should look like when folded open. All said, this is an item that should be easy to restore because the bones are fully intact. A lovely thing!
