An Original WW2 German Army Belt Complete with Buckle and Hook.The buckle is made from light-weight metal (probably aluminium) and shows the Wehrmacht Eagle clutching a Swastika. Around is: "GOTT MIT UNS" (God with us). There is some obvious wear to the eagle's feathers and some of the outside pebble pattern. I can find no marker's mark on the buckle or any other part of the belt. The leather belt is complete except for the adjustment strap. Presumably the already thin soldier didn't think that he was going to put on any weight and cut it off. The condition of the leather is good except from some surface cracks at one spot on the inside.This is an excellent example of this belt. It has clearly seen active service but is in very good condition. Unlike many items of German militaria on the internet, this one is authentic and comes with a money-back guarantee.Added: The images have been edited to obscure the offending symbol.
