WW2 Irvin Flying Jacket

This jacket is a rare flying jacket which dates back to the 1940's during World War 2. This jacket was made by D.G.L Ltd. London. It has features typical of this small London maker: large collar ringds, very narrow belt hoops, an almost square ended collar and large rivets to secure the main zip.

The jacket is in very good condition. The golden/copper coloured fleece is the desirable close pile variety, typical of early war irivins. There is some wear to the shoulder and sleeve but not a lot. The skin is a little dry but without rot. All the zips, hoops and buckles are original to the jacket and in working condition.
