WW2 No.4 MKII Spike Bayonet with MKI Scabbard (Savage-Stevens)

These pieces are in an GOOD, USED CONDITION- Bayonet is present and complete. Sharpened spike remains in a Good State and has been utilised. Signs of Wear evident due to handling. Steel Scabbard is in original state. All manufacturers marks evident.

An EXCELLENT example of  World War 2, 1940s Spike Bayonet NO.4 MKII w/ Steel Scabbard. This piece appears to be in a VF/F state , with  sharpened spike blade and press-adjustment mortise. All parts  present. Evidence of handling/ age-related wear is visible on surface. Steel Scabbard and Bayonet are clearly marked with correct nomenclature. Note : Bayonet tip is exceptionally sharp! 

This piece was produced from 1942 onward for use with the SMLE NO.4 Rifle , being subcontracted for manufacturing in the United States of America under the Lend-Lease program.
