This is a WW2 Russian SSH39 1941 Steel Helmet with second pattern liner. It has been overpainted by the Germans and used by the Luftschutz. Note the Luftschutz decal has been de-nazified. Many different nations helmets were pressed into action by the Germans during the war as was done with weapons and equipment. Please note the red chin strap is not a period part, having been added before I got the helmet.
