The recipient of these items was Ian Richard Julyan. (Duke of Edinburgh's Own Rifles)
Included in this lot:
His officially named group of WW2 medals + an SADF 10 year bronze Good Service Medal.
His tunic jacket with full insignia, ribbon bar & name badge.(dated 1976)
His combat jacket (battle dress) with full insignia + ribbon bar. ( dated 1971)
Two larger size photohraphs + three postcard size photos (all original)
One pic shows the Dukes marching through the streets of cape Town during WW2, and another shows the Dukes band.
Also included is an original SADF payslip (Pay advice) May 1978 in the name of IR Julyan.
This lot came directly from the relatives of Julyan.
Both jackets are in superb condition !!!
