Up for grabs is a WW2 German War Merit Cross with Swords, Ring marked '1' for Deschler with original ribbon, issue paper and packet. This medal was part of the 'Deschler Hoard' found a few years ago in the basement of the factory that manufactured the medals during WW2. There were boxes of EK's, KVK's and Ostfront Medals. Slight damage to the packet as shown. Here is your chance to add a great KVK, issue packet and ribbon to the collection. This one will be hard to upgrade.

The War Merit Cross (Kriegsverdienstkreuz) was a decoration of Nazi Germany during the Second World War, which could be awarded to civilians as well as military personnel.
