Backlash (2005) was a professional wrestling pay-per-view event produced by World Wrestling Entertainment (WWE), which took place on April 21, 2005 at the Verizon Wireless Arena in Manchester, New Hampshire. This was the seventh Backlash pay-per-view.
Including one match on the Bottom Line pre-show, there were ten matches on the event card, featuring wrestlers from the Raw and SmackDown brands. The main event of the Raw brand was Triple H versus Chris Benoit in a two out of three falls match for the World Heavyweight Championship.
