For sale is an authentic, beautifully preserved World War I German brass artillery shell casing. This piece was manufactured before the outbreak of the war in October 1910 at the Düsseldorf munitions factory. It serves as an excellent piece of military history, a battlefield souvenir, or a classic trench art vase display.

Condition:
Exterior: Highly polished to a bright brass finish. The side profile is completely smooth and unengraved. Headstamp markings on the base remain highly legible.
Interior: Structurally solid. Features the original internal primer/detonator assembly head. Shows light, typical historic carbon residue and minor verdigris in the deepest corners, but it is completely empty and safe.
