WWI - Trench Art 'Lion Head' Imperial German Artillery Officers Sword Hilt Candlestick

This unusual, well made candlestick has been hand made from a WWI 'Lions Head' Imperial German Artillery Officers sword. It's probably a WWI Trench Art/P.OW. piece incorporating the brass and shark skin hilt or handle of the sword. The top of the candlestick is bent slightly but otherwise in nice condition. The brass parts of the hilt have a good colour and are nicely polished. It stands 26cm high, with a base diameter of 17cm.
