From the First World War, a War and Victory Medal Pair to 2nd Lieutenant Edward Harvey Poynton of the Royal Garrison Artillery.

The medals are confirmed by his Medal Index Card and Poynton is remembered on the Imperial War Museums website  (in the images).

The medals are mounted for wear. Also included are his:

  • Miniature medals mounted for wear
  • MOTH "tin hat" lapel badge (lettering stamped round and not across)
  • Pin-back medal ribbon bar
