I bought it new back in 2011... I never played too much , for years it only stayed in my closet. Last time I played was 2019 before I tested it now. Still working 100%
I have 3 remotes. The two black ones came with the xbox one works 100%. But unfortunately the other one because not used in a long time the battery acid corroded the battery pack so it need to be replaced. If I use the other remotes battery holder it also works 100%
My silver remote only works if the cable are plugged in to the xbox..
