The hard drive needs re-formatting for Xbox 360 console.

It does not show on the console menu.

The hard drive was acquired separately, maybe that's the reason???


The hard drive shows and works normally when plugged to a computer.


The USB ports on at the back of the console do not respond, only the front USB ports work. 


You can still use a flash drive or external USB storage on the console to store your data and progress, without the need of an internal storage.
