Unit has red dot , but sometimes functions as normal. When it runs , I can play a game for hrs. When switching off , the red dot appears. After unplugging PS for a while , it functions normally again. It also freezes requiring restart. Unit is now constantly on red dot. It has been opened to clean the fan and repaste the cpu with fresh conductive paste to attempt repair. But still remains on red dot. Noting else removed or replaced. Everything re assembled as is. This can be a perfect candidate for repair by qualified technician as it was functioning perfect as explained above. Could just be a minor fault.
Note this unit could be a perfect candidate for repair as everything is intact.
It is not over heating up as the fan runs normally.
