Up for auction is an Xplorer XPLA 7/9 fly reel, which is machined from barstock aluminium. It has 30 lb backing & a brand new 8 wt Cortland 444 Shooting Head floating fly line (which cost R399). I only used this reel once, with the previous fly line (8 wt WF floating), which I sold to a friend. The reel has been sitting in my cupboard ever since.
