Yamaha CS 50 Receiver in good working condition.
This is the ultimate retro alarm clock! Why simulate this clock on your Android if you can have the real thing?
The clock keeps time, and has an alarm that can be used to switch on the amp at the designated time. It also has a timer which can switch the amp off after a max of 3 hours. So you can fall asleep to music as well as wake up to music.
The amp & tuner itself sounds good, no scratchy knobs, etc.
Please see the pics and read the comments at the pics.

The power switch's markings are gone, but essentially you set it between "Off", "auto", "on" and sleep timer.
The tuning meter works, all controls work in fact.
Wooden casing still good
FM stereo light operational
The original backlights to the tuner & pointer section blew, so I fitted "closest match" bulbs.
The lettering for the Volume knob (right) faded.
Also the "Function" lettering faded, the options are FM mono, FM stereo, MW, AUX, Phono (tape loop has separate monitor button)
Speaker connections use special plugs (2 plugs included). The "rear" speaker terminals appear to be some kind of "simulated surround" circuit. Observe the switch next to the speaker sockets, where you can set the level of the rear speakers.
RCA inputs, as well as DIN for the tape deck
Areal connections & serial number plate (it was still a plate back then)
Pure elegant design
