A very old Chinese variety, with a distinct flavour. A pretty bush that has all the chilli’s facing upwards (Facing Heaven). This is a great thin walled drying pepper that has plenty of heat and a nice broad flavour. The pods are cone shaped and grown to between 3 and 6 cm in length, and 1-2cm in diameter, they are very thin skinned and when dried they produce a nice rattle sound when shaken. The pods have a bit of a citrus zing to them and are mild to medium heat so can be used in most cooking,
