This is the third impression of the first edition, published in March 1965, exactly one year after the first impression, also by Jonathan Cape.  There is bright gold Japanese script on the front board and bright silver titles on the spine. The pages are bright and unmarked, apart from a slightly foxed top and bottom edge, such that I have graded conservatively at very good. The dust jacket original ( NOT a photocopy ) and is complete and not price clipped, in near fine condition apart from the neat pen annotations on the back flap, hence the grade of very good.
