IMPORTANT HANDLING TIPS  

Schweet Sheets are technically similar to 'icing sheets' (also called 'frosting sheets' in some parts of the world) in that they contain a blend of corn starch and pharmaceutical grade sugars. This tends to make the product sensitive to humidity (air moisture) which is variable due to seasonal, climatic and geographic differences throughout the world. In order to always ensure a smooth working experience when working with this product we recommend taking note of the following important information:

• Keep the sealed sheets in a cool dry place (NOT in the fridge or freezer) and out of direct sunlight to prevent them from drying out.

• Always keep the Ziploc bag tightly sealed (unprinted or printed).

• Always make sure that your hands are clean and dry before handling the sheets.

• Place the Schweet Sheet on top of your desired cake topping (Yes, you can now use whipped fresh cream too!!), pat lightly down with dry fingers. Finish off the decorating with a piped border of your choice. The picture will melt into the existing cake topping in less than 30 minutes leaving it shiny and giving it the look of a painting and/or glossy photograph.
• Do not put water on the picture.

HOW TO MAKE YOUR PICTURE PERFECT CAKE

• Place your bid
• Scan in your picture/photo - Resize the picture to 'A4' OR create something in publisher.  The possiblities are endless.  The higher the resolution the better the end product.
• Email your picture to me, with any instructions.
• Pay for your picture and send proof of payment,
• Fetch your picture from the post office.
• Prepare your cake with your chosen topping.
• Once the Schweet Sheet has been taken out of the plastic bag simply peel off the thin transparent underlay and place the printed image directly on your cake topping. Pat lightly down with dry fingers. Finish off the decorating with a piped border. The edible image will melt into your topping within half an hour . The end result is a shiny, full colour picture on the surface of your cake for all to enjoy.

• Use on Fresh Cream cake topping - Schweet Sheets are the first Icing sheet available in the world today specifically designed to work on this medium. (Do not attempt to use any other Icing Sheet on fresh cream as the edible ink will absorb the water and blur your image.
   
• Use on Plastic Icing or Fondant - Schweet Sheets may be used on these cake toppings. Apply a fine and even spray of moisture (or dab with a wet sponge) but ensure that the surface is not too wet.
