A large and showy spathe surrounds a spadix containing small flowers. Zantedeschia are also popular for their showy leaves. There is quite some natural variation in height and many dwarf variants available. Many of the available hybrids have been selected in a short for for use in containers.

Plant with the growth pints upwards, and the tuber flat. Water regularly and deeply during the active season.
Further Care
It is best not to disturb the tubers for several season. A top dressing of old manure can be applied in late summer.
Propagation
Can be propagated by offsets or by division of tubers. The seeds can also be sown in spring. Seedlings will flower in their second year.
