You are bidding on a 1897 Zuid Afrikaanse Republiek 2 1/2 Shilling (Half Crown) Silver coin with XF details.

The coin has been graded by NGC and has Extremely Fine details. It looks stunningly beautiful and is a nice coin to have to show off in your collection as an example of what a brilliant Mint State ZAR silver coin would look like.

Hern's Handbook of South African Coins values an Extremely Fine 1897 2 1/2 Shilling at R3000.00, however this auction starts at a crazy R1.00
