ZAR Medallion : Paul Kruger : In Memoriam Medal by JJ Hall & Co. 1904

According to Hern’s Handbook on the Medallions of the Zuid Afrikaanche Republiek and the Anglo Boer War, these medals were probably issued for Krugers funeral on 18 December 1904.

The date on the medal (July 15th 1904) refers to the day he died in Clarence, Switzerland.
