Anglo-Boer War - POW Art.

Up for auction are 3 pieces of POW art made from ZAR 1 Shilling silver pieces.

The 2 Kruger bust cutouts are from 1897 1 Shilling coins, and the pendant cutout with hat and pipe is from a 1892 1 Shilling coin - there's a small patch of solder remaining where the pendant must have had a small ring attached to the top of the coin.

The original owner was a POW in Ceylon and I am combining these pieces with two Ceylon coins that I found grouped with the art pieces.

The first is a 1890 Ceylon 5 cents coin, and the second a 1898 Ceylon Half cent coin.

Please refer to the scans for the condition of the coins, which I rate as very good (Circ+) - considering their age.
