Offered here is an authentic 1896 ZAR Six Pence, issued by the Zuid-Afrikaansche Republiek during the presidency of Paul Kruger. These historic Boer Republic coins were struck in silver and circulated in the years leading up to the Anglo-Boer War, making them highly sought after by collectors of South African and colonial numismatics.
The reverse features the large numeral 6 within an oak wreath beneath the initials Z.A.R., while the obverse carries the portrait of President Kruger.
Coins from this era remain popular for their historical importance and connection to one of the most significant periods in South African history.
A desirable collector piece ideal for ZAR, Kruger, or world silver coin collections.
