Offered here is an authentic 1896 ZAR Six Pence, issued by the Zuid-Afrikaansche Republiek during the presidency of Paul Kruger. These historic Boer Republic coins were struck in silver and circulated in the years leading up to the Anglo-Boer War, making them highly sought after by collectors of South African and colonial numismatics.
The reverse features the large numeral 6 within an oak wreath beneath the initials Z.A.R., while the obverse carries the portrait of President Kruger.
