The Zebra Plant is one of those indoor plants that just makes people stop and look. Its glossy green leaves are boldly patterned with white veins, giving it a 'zebra-like' appearance and when it flowers, you'll get bright golden bracts that can last for weeks. It's the perfect plant if you like a touch of drama in your décor.

🌞 Light: Loves bright, indirect light. A spot near a window with filtered sun is perfect. Too little light will mean fewer flowers and less vibrant leaves.

💧 Watering: Keep the soil consistently moist, but not soggy. Water when the top 23cm of soil feels dry. Zebra Plants can be a little fussy if they dry out completely, so keep an eye on the soil especially in warmer weather.

🌡 Temperature & Humidity: Thrives between 1824°C. This plant enjoys higher humidity mist the leaves regularly or place it near a humidifier to keep it looking its best.

🌱 Soil: Use our Aroid Mix for excellent drainage and aeration, or make your own blend with Barks Unlimited Potting Soil and Perlite.

🌿 Feeding: In spring and summer, feed every 24 weeks with an organic fertiliser to support healthy growth and flowering.

Maintenance: Remove spent flowers and any yellow leaves to keep the plant tidy.

🐛 Pests: Watch for aphids and mealybugs. Treat quickly with insecticidal spray if needed.
