Volume 1 - Two name stamps of a previous owner to the end-papers, and again handwritten name and date (1927) to the title page. A Sheaf of pages 37 to 44 has become detached, but is present in the book. Last decorative end-paper is becoming detached, and shows some netting. Pages lightly tanned.
Volume 2 - Owner details on end-papers and title page as volume 1, and netting showing in places at last decorative end-paper, that is detached but present. Four removable maps in retainer at the end of the book, all present, but one with a tear half the width along a fold, and the larger one with a short tear along one fold, and small internal holes at corners of the folds. Pages lightly tanned.
