
Offered on this auction is this Zeiss Ikon Nettar Folding Camera,in its original leather pouch. It is model 515/2.
This camera is self erecting and pushes the bellows out automatically when opened.
This camera was manufactured between 1945 and 1951.
This Camera is fitted with a Novar-Anastigmatic 1:6.3 f=10.5mm Lens, in a Vario Shutter.
CONDITION
COSMETICALLY this Camera is Very Good, showing little signs of use and storage. There is minor paint loss to the metal frame and light scratches on the black leatherette covering. There is no corrosion on the exposed metal parts (See photos).
There are a very few corrosion bumps under the leatherette.
The camera opens and closes with ease. The self arecting function is slow to start.
The struts are Excellent.
The bellows are Excellent.
Shutter action is Excellent.
The lens looks clear.
All lens adjustment rings move smoothly.
The overhead viewfinder is fitted seperately when required.
The folding side optical finder lens is broken.
There is a little corrosion in the film compartment.
The pouch is Very Good. The neck strap is broken.
