Our specialist growers carefully hold back stock until the bulbs have properly cured and are ready for immediate planting to ensure the best results in your garden.
In the unlikely event that a specific variety does not cure properly or is deemed non-viable by the farm, we will refund you for that portion of your order.
If you add pre-order items to your cart, your entire order will be held until those items are ready to ship. To receive in-stock items sooner, we recommend placing two separate orders.

Effortless Elegance: These low-maintenance gems thrive with minimal fuss. Plant them, and let nature do the rest. Perfect for busy gardeners or those new to the joys of gardening.
Perfect for South African Climates: Zephyranthes are perfectly suited to our warm summers and respond beautifully to our seasonal rainfall patterns. They flourish in full sun to partial shade, making them versatile additions to various garden spots.
Long-Lasting Charm: Each bloom lasts for several days, and the plants continue to produce flushes of flowers throughout the summer and autumn, ensuring a prolonged season of enjoyment.
Compact & Versatile: Ideal for borders, rockeries, containers, or naturalising in lawns. Their neat habit makes them perfect for creating striking visual accents or filling gaps with vibrant colour.
Watering: Zephyranthes love moisture, especially during their active growing and flowering periods. Water regularly during dry spells, but ensure good drainage to prevent waterlogging. They truly come alive after a downpour!
Soil: Plant in well-draining soil rich in organic matter. A sandy loam is ideal, but they are adaptable to a range of soil types as long as drainage is excellent.
Light: For the best flowering display, provide full sun to partial shade. In scorching summer regions, a little afternoon shade can be beneficial.
Planting: Plant the bulbs about 5-10 cm deep and 8-15 cm apart in late winter or early spring (July to September in South Africa).
Feeding: A balanced slow-release fertiliser applied in spring will encourage robust growth and abundant blooms.
Bring the enchanting spectacle of Rain Lilies to your South African garden. Feel the joy of discovering new blooms after every shower, and create a vibrant, ever-changing landscape that reflects the beauty of our unique climate.
