Offered for sale is an original Zimbabwe 20,000 Dollar Bearer Cheque, issued by the Reserve Bank of Zimbabwe on 1 December 2003, with a redemption date of 31 December 2004. This note forms part of the highly collectible range of Zimbabwean hyperinflation banknotes, sought after for their historical value and as a reminder of one of the worlds most dramatic economic collapses.
The front of the note features the Reserve Banks balancing rocks emblem, the denomination in bold red, and the printed signature of Governor Dr. G. Gono. The reverse displays a geometric guilloche pattern with an animal vignette in the lower-left corner.
This particular example shows honest circulation wear and light creasing typical of notes used during the peak of Zimbabwes inflationary period. Serial number prefix CC07 is clearly visible, with no major tears, holes, or ink loss.
A desirable piece for collectors of world banknotes, African currency, and hyperinflation memorabilia.
