The ZKTeco SC800 Multi-Tech Card Access Control Terminal is a durable RFID access-control and time-attendance device designed for offices, residential estates, factories, warehouses and other controlled entrances. Its metal midframe, tempered-glass front panel, IP65 ingress rating and IK04 impact rating make it suitable for sheltered outdoor access points where a standard indoor reader may not be appropriate. The terminal combines card or PIN verification, door-control connections and network management in one slim wall-mounted unit.

- Built for demanding entrance areas. The IP65-rated enclosure resists dust and water ingress, while the IK04 impact rating provides additional protection against accidental knocks and low-level vandalism.
- Handles large user databases. The standard configuration stores up to 50,000 cards and 200,000 transaction records, making it suitable for busy commercial and residential sites.
- Card and PIN verification. Users can gain access using a compatible RFID credential, six-digit password or configured combination of verification methods.
- Controls the complete door installation. Dedicated connections are provided for a compatible electric lock, door sensor, exit button, alarm, doorbell and auxiliary input.
- Works as a controller or external reader. Wiegand input allows a compatible external reader to be connected, while Wiegand output lets the SC800 serve as a reader for a separate access-control panel.
- Flexible network management. TCP/IP is standard, with optional Wi-Fi available on selected versions. An embedded web server supports browser-based configuration on a compatible network.
- Supports advanced reader integration. RS485 and OSDP support allow connection to compatible access readers and security equipment.
- Simple local operation. A 2.4-inch colour display, hidden touch keypad and red, green and white status indicators provide a clean interface without exposed mechanical keys.

- The SC800 is not limited to access control. Its communication protocol can be switched from access-control push to time-attendance push, allowing the same terminal to support staff attendance applications when used with compatible software.
- Access permissions can be more detailed than simply allowing or denying a card. The terminal supports time schedules, holidays, access groups, combined verification, anti-passback and duress settings.
- The optional multi-technology RFID modules determine which credentials the terminal can read. Depending on the selected module, supported technologies may include 125 kHz ID, 13.56 MHz IC, DESFire EV1 or EV2, FeliCa, Legic, HID Prox and HID iCLASS credentials.
Compatibility & Software Support
The SC800 is compatible with ZKBio CVAccess for supported access-control administration. Its documentation also describes operation with ZKBio Access IVS and ZKBioTime 8.0, depending on the installed firmware, communication protocol and software environment.
Standard connectivity includes TCP/IP, Wiegand input and output, RS485 for compatible readers, OSDP and RS232 for a supported printer. Wi-Fi, multi-technology card support and printer functionality are optional and may not be present on every version.
Professional installation is recommended. The installer should confirm the card technology, power requirements, network configuration and compatibility of the electric lock before installation.
