ZonVida Solar Panels are designed to extend your swimming season by harnessing the free, abundant power of the South African sun. Crafted with UV-stabilised, weather-resistant polypropylene material, these panels efficiently heat your pool water without increasing your electricity bill.
Use of a pool cover is always recommended, not only to eliminate evaporation but also to help retain the water temperature gain during sunshine hours. One ZonVida panel provide collection of sufficient heat-energy to increase about ten thousand liter of water to an enjoyable temperature.
As example, for a new solar pool heating installation: Five (5) ZonVida panels will be recommended for a 50 000 Liter pool fitted with a pool cover that gets full sun during the day; with a pump system not further that 20 meters from the north-facing, single storey roof where the panels will be installed. Cold, uncovered and shaded swimming pools will require more panels.
ZonVida panels are secured on a tiled roof with ski-rope tied around the brandering under tiles, while on metal roofs "hoepel" metal brackets or tie-down plastic brackets are used as anchoring point for rope.
Contents of Installation Kit:
Installation kits includes Ski-rope; Ball Valves; a Vacuum Breakers; EPDM 50mm rubber connectors and end-stops; Hose clamps; PVC fittings and PVC glue.
Excluded: PVC 50mm pipe and holder bats (wall brackets) for the pipe are items that need to be added to your order or bought from a local hardware store.

Installation requirements:
The panels can be installed by yourself, but guidance from a Swemgat Technician is required to insure a long life of the product, optimum performance and that the product are covered by the warranty.

Warranty:
A standard carry-in warranty of 3 Year apply that you have the choice to extend to 6 Years with your purchase or within 60 day from the date of purchase.
