MF79U combines the functions of aUSB modem and a WiFi access pointfor 10 subscribers.A wide range of supported frequencies ensures compatibility with wireless networks of 3G and 4G standards.The maximum download speed is 150 Mbpsandsending data reaches 50 Mbps.
The key difference between the device and most conventional modems is the wireless module thatcreates a WiFi zonefor connecting portable devices.The built-in WiFi-module operates at a frequency of 2.4 GHzin 802.11b / g / nstandards.The maximum speed of data exchange "over the air" is 150 Mbps.The MF79U is able to provide WiFi coverage for 10 user devices (smartphones, tablets, laptops, game consoles, and desktop PCs with WiFi adapters).
The ZTE MF79U model has no compatibility restrictions with mobile operators and can be used without restrictions with SIM cards.The Micro-SIM card slot is located under the protective cover, which helps to prevent dust and moisture from entering the device, as well as to prevent the SIM from falling out of the card reader.
A slot for installinga MicroSD memory cardwith a capacity of up to 32 GB allows you to store personal files and use the modem as a regular "flash drive".The memory card is not included in the delivery package of the modem (purchased separately).
The MF79U is equipped withtwo TS9 connectorsfor connecting external 3G / 4G antennas.Two connectors are required to support MIMO technology (data transfer in two communication channels).To use a modem in a city or other locations with reliable reception of a mobile Internet signal, as a rule, a built-in antenna is sufficient.External antennas are recommended for use outside the city or in other conditions with an insufficiently strong incoming signal(Antennas and pigtails purchased separately).
The setup of the MF79U is simple and intuitive.The procedure for connecting and operating the modem is described in detail in the complete documentation.The standard ZTE web interface is convenient and practical.Please note: the data for accessing the modem's web interface is printed on a sticker on the box.Do not throw away the packaging of the modem immediately after purchasing the device, otherwise you will lose access to the control panel!
MF79U is executed in the familiar "keyring" form factor.The modem is convenient to use and transport.The device can connect directly to a computer / laptop or work from an electrical outletthrough a regular USB power adapter.
