The vase has the appearance of Sharkskin glazing invented by Takeuchi Chubei, an enamelist , applied on ceramic surface. Takeuchi Chubei a well known enamelist in the 1870's opened a store around 1887 which stayed open for a few years until around 1890 . He experimented with the sharkskin glaze during this period.
Condition is excellent with no signs of enamel loss
