Flour
The main ingredient of most baked goods is the flour, if we had to list the types of different flour we have available, we might be here all day. Here are a few of the types we stock: rye flour, coconut flour, buckwheat flour, chickpea flour and then your normal all purpose flour and self raising flour which is also available in a gluten free option. Don’t be afraid to experiment with different ingredients or substitute all purpose flour for healthier options. As flour is at the heart of most recipes you want to make sure it is of good quality.

Sugar and sweeteners
There are so many sweeteners and sugar alternatives on the market these days, it can be tough to keep up. A few years ago, white and brown sugar as well as canderel were the top runners but these days you can choose from coconut sugar, sweet leaf stevia powder and sucanat. Not to mention the various sugar alternatives available such as xylitol, erythritol, fructose, syrups and honey. These days there is a substitute for everything and healthier options too. Now that you have all your ingredients, get your apron out and let’s get baking!
