Description: Antique  gilded porcelain trio 1889-1891 Ref. C-99
Maker: Unknown but English in origin.
Date: The design was registered in early 1889 as is shown by the Registered Number 111149. From 1891, all countries were obliged to print the country of manufacture on the article.
History: Unknown.  There is no backstamp apart from the registered number
Marks/Observations: Fine fluted porcelain trio, cup, saucer and cake plate, and  showing a transfer ware design in brown, hand embellished and hand gilded. The Registered # is shown on the reverse of each item. This would have been a rather expensive set.
Condition: Good condition overall, no chips, cracks or heavy use noted.  Slight loss of gilding to the rims as to be expected.
Dimensions: Cup  7.5cm high and stands 5.3 cm in height. Saucer 14 cm in diameter and stands 1.6 cm in height. Cake Plate 17.7 cm in diameter and stands 2.1 cm in height
