Rhodesian Solid Silver 'Bowls' Trophy Spoon (Gwelo)

This vintage, heavy, sterling silver trophy spoon features a scene of a couple playing bowls in lovely detail, with an inscription engraved on the back 'Gwelo Bowling Club' 'The Perfection Spoon' 'Won by Mrs. BARNES'. It was probably made around the 1940/50's and is stamped 'SILVER' and 'T & S' for silversmiths 'Turner & Simpson'. The spoon is in excellent condition with a nice, gilded bowl, measures 13,5cm in length and weighs 20g.
