Background:  
Band on the Run is the third  by the British/American rock band , released in December 1973. It was  fifth album after leaving  in April 1970. Although sales were modest initially, its commercial performance was aided by two hit singles "" and "" such that it became the top-selling studio album of 1974 in the United Kingdom and Australia, in addition to revitalising McCartney's critical standing. It remains McCartney's most successful album and the most celebrated of his post-Beatles works. (Wikipedia)
The Album was recorded at the EMI studios in Lagos,  It was a mission to make, two band members left before recording. The band was robbed at knifepoint (welcome to Africa) , In 2013 the Album was inducted into the Grammy Hall of Fame.
