It's Storytime!

Down, at the bottom of my beautiful Karoo garden, where the almond, apple, lemon and peach trees blossom, there's a buzz happening. The bumblebees are hard at work pollinating the flowers.

What a beautiful sight to bee-hold!

These creatures are the real magic-weavers, doing their part in the garden to create a whimsical world of outstanding colour and a cornucopia of delicious taste.

Be still and listen. Can you hear them?

Listen as they create a vibrating pulse for the flowers to pollinate called "buzz pollination." Feel the whirring of the wings as they beat 200 times a second. These little art studies are my way of capturing the magic and, with love and reverence to nature, releasing them to the world, so that everyone can experience a little slice of heaven on their wall.
