The vintage 14ct yellow gold ring has a shank which spreads at the one shoulder to form a bowed, pierced head. At the other shoulder the shank splits into three parts, which join the head. The head is claw-set, in a curve, with three, round-cut, blue sapphires (2.6mm diameter circa 0.08ct each). The head is also pave-set, in a curve, with three round-cut small diamonds (circa 0.02ct each. The area round the diamonds has been rhodium-plated to give a white background to the diamonds. It is also decorated with beading. The ring is marked "585" for 14ct gold.
