Despite often being derided by critics, Marie Corelli was the most widely read author of fiction in her time with sales of her novels exceeding the combined sales of popular contemporaries like Arthur Conan Doyle, H.G. Wells and Rudyard Kipling and her works collected by the likes of Winston Churchill and the Royal Family. Her works were largely concerned with Christianity, reincarnation, astral projection and mysticism. These two books are both published by Methuen's Colonial Library - The Soul of Lilith in 1903 (432 pages) and God's Good Man in 1904 (611 pages). Both are hard covers, still in neat, tightly bound condition with very light foxing on preliminaries but clear and clean in the rest of the books. Refer images
