These 4 Coins were issued in 1988 to Commemorate the 50th Anniversary of the 1938 British Isles Tour to South Africa.

The all feature Doc Craven who Captained the Springboks for that tour.

On one side each has a different image of Doc Craven (see the pics) on the other side is an image of Doc Craven (all the same).

The Presentation Set with the 4 Coins in the blue velvet covered box was presented to each of the living Springboks who were members of the 1938 Pre War Squad, at a function held on the 22nd August 1988.

Each also had a Plaque, this set was presented to Louis Babrow.

The coins are in mint, box lid is loose.
