9V_12V_24V to USB Converter 5V 3A | DC-DC Step Down

DC to DC step down converter PCB from 8-40V DC to 5v DC 3A via a USB (female) connector.

This unit is recommended as a more convenient alternative to Power our 'Smart Gate Garage Door Opener Switch' (the opener includes a adaptor which requires 230VAC and therefore a qualified electrician). By adding this DC-DC converter you can DIY the installation as you need only connect to the 24V DC available on the Garage Door control board. Note: Gates  normally need 12V DC check your control board model to check if it has 12 or 24V DC outputs.

Suitable for any application where a USB charge port is required cars, truck, home, office & factory etc. Be sure to "INSULATE' the PCB. heat shrink is preferred but an enclosure or electrical insulation tape is also suitable.
