History: Royal Worcester was established in 1751 and is believed to be the oldest or second oldest remaining English porcelain brand still in existence today.
Marks/Observations: An outstanding Royal Worcester Bud vase, decorated in a raised gilded foliate sprays leaves and small flowers which extends to the back of the vase. The elongated neck is is enhanced with softly gilded handles. All of this set against a ivory background, a feature of Royal Worcester. The back stamp, in green, shows the date mark for 1885. This is indicated by the letter W found at the base of the stamp.
Condition: Very good condition throughout with no visible cracks, chips or loss of gilding.
Dimensions: The vase stands 26 cm in height and has a diameter of 12.5 cm.
