If yes, then you MUST make this small investment. For just R50, you can buy this tool (developed and programmed by myself personally) to shrink images by specifying the maximum KB (Kilobytes) of the resulting image size on disk.

BidorBuy must restrict the size of images to 50KB to prevent unnecessary high traffic uploading to their server. This would improve the speed at which we can browse on their website.

I've been advertising products on the internet myself, and found myself writing this tool to assist me shrinking images to a maximum amount of KB (Kilobytes). Websites like Ebay also have such restrictions. I've improved the algorithm of this program since the first time I wrote it to improve performance, and now I'm making it available for you too, because ordinary graphics programs does not have such a function. In ordinary graphics programs you must continue changing the dimensions (Width/Height) of the image and save it until you come across the image size being smaller than your targeted KB (Kilobytes), and large enough to your satisfaction.

This program will do all of this for you. The algorithm has a very precise method of getting the image size BELOW the targeted maximum amount of KB as close as possible to this target. For eg. most large images of 1 mb will be resized to 49.98 KB if 50KB were chosen as the maximum.

This program is taking advantage of the GDI+ Libraries from the Microsoft.NET Framework 2.0 to provide for efficient image handling of all known image types. Transparent images not supported (or images with an indexed pixel format), for e.g. gif images are supported, but if the gif is transparent, it must first be converted without transparency to be supported. Examples of known images supported are gif, jpg, tif, bmp and all types from graphics programs, or any digital camera, or any scanner.

The single image shrink version is R50. A bulk version of the application is also available at an extra R50. If you're interested in the bulk version, simply buy this item and request the bulk version with an extra R50 at payment. The demo includes the bulk version demo.

Requirements

MS Windows Operating System with .NET Framework 2.0 installed. The .NET Framework 2.0 is available free from Microsoft, or bundled together on the installation cd if you would prefer it being shipped to you.
