IN THE GOLFING FRATERNITY, THE GOLDEN GOOSE IS A TRULY HISTORIC NAME. THE GOLDEN GOOSE PUTTER WAS INTRODUCED BY JOHN LETTERS (A SCOTTISH GOLF CLUB MANUFACTURERS) IN 1946 AND WENT ON TO DOMINATE THE GAME OF GOLF FOR DECADES TO COME. IT WAS PARTICULARLY NOTED THAT DURING THE 1940’s AND 1950’s ANY PLAYER OF SUBSTANCE WOULD HAVE A GOLDEN GOOSE IN HIS GOLF BAG. AFTER NEAR BANKRUPTCY IN 2005, THE COMPANY WAS REVIVED AND EVEN TODAY'S GREAT EXPONENTS OF THE PUTTING GAME CONTINUE TO USE THE PUTTER TO THEIR BENEFIT.
