This incredible original vintage "Thomas" of Germany (Rosenthal) fine porcelain dinner service is a truly stunning find and is a wonderful 4-setting dinner service comprising of the following: a large food platter (40cm x 28.5cm), a smaller food platter (33cm x 24cm), a salad/ veg bowl (22cm across), a lidded tureen (27cm ear to ear x 23.5cm wide x 10cm high), an open tureen (27cm ear to ear x 23.5cm wide x 7.5cm high), a gravy boat (18cm, across x 10cm high), 4x dinner plates (25.5cm across), 4x starter plates (21.5cm across), 4x side plates (18cm across), 4x soup bowls (19cm across), 4x dessert bowls (19cm across), 4x plated double eared soup bowls (15cm ear to ear x 12.2cm across and the plates are 16.5cm across). The set is in awesome condition and none of the pieces have chips or cracks in them. We have also included a hand full of assorted pieces (see pic) in case you have any breakages down the line. This amazing retro dinner service has been beautifully looked after and the gilding is still in great condition for its age, with normal wear and tear and tarnishing. The back-stamp on the dinner service confirms the service was made between 1959 and 1977.
